This was one of the high end archtop electric guitars made by Gibson during the early to mid 1940s. Maple top, back and sides with a Mahogany neck and Rosewood fretboard. Big body measuring 17 inches wide by 3.25 deep with a 25.25 scale neck and a nut width of 1 11/16th. It has the legendary P-90 pickup, trapeze tailpiece with F-hole design, two control knobs, F-holes, and split block inlays. The original tortoise pickguard is in the case but has crumbled. It is in the original Geib alligator brown case with pink lining.
